B-Man's Cheeseburger

B-Man's Teriyaki & Burgers is a small chain which serves pretty much what you'd expect, given its name. This is from their Duarte location.

It's a simple cheeseburger with a small patty, a slice of cheese and a dollop of sauce. As you can see, the veggies are fresh and not an afterthought. It's all very tasty, even with the overcooked patty. Unfortunately the fries are forgettable, and I will indeed forget to order them in the future.

That said, it's a good sandwich at a good price. Burger and fries, under $4.

Meet El Patron, the latest from Willie at Vicious Dogs. It's a regular dog, wrapped in bacon, topped with black beans, corn, mozzarella and baked. Then that's topped with salsa. Real good. Dog and onion rings, about $8.

Steamed Gyoza

From local fave BBQ Teriyaki, these steamed dumpling are soft and a good accompaniment to my regular bowl of noodle soup. They also come fried, which is also good, if a bit oily. About $3.
